CLEAR’s President and CFO Kenneth Cornick Confirmed to Speak at Money20/20 USA

Appearance comes after CLEAR enters financial services with its first reusable KYC solution that delivers its familiar, fast, frictionless consumer experience

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Money20/20, the world’s leading fintech show, and the place where money does business, is announcing that CLEAR Co-Founder, President and CFO Kenneth Cornick is confirmed to speak at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas on October 24th at 1:35pm on the Exchange stage.

Cornick’s appearance comes on the heels of the secure identity company announcing its first product in financial services – one of the only reusable Know Your Customer (KYC) solutions. CLEAR’s one-click KYC solution delivers a frictionless experience that allows a customer to quickly complete the registration process once, without repeating the same steps when signing up with another financial services company – aiming to combat the 40 percent drop off in signups when customers are required to complete cumbersome KYC checks.

“Trust and security are fundamental to financial services, and institutions and startups want new ways to ensure they know with certainty who is at the other end of a transaction,” said Kenneth Cornick, CLEAR President and CFO. “We believe our secure identity technology does exactly that, and offers the best consumer-friendly sign-up process that will help institutions seamlessly, securely, and confidently enroll their customers.”

“Unfortunately, fraud of all forms is rampant in the financial industry. Which is why we’re so excited to host Ken at this year’s show, to talk about how to center safety at the core of a differentiated user experience” said Zach Anderson Pettet, US Content Director at Money20/20. “CLEAR is uniquely positioned to help financial institutions tackle this challenge with a wealth of experience working in other highly regulated industries such as airline security and healthcare.”

During the session “From Airports to Everywhere- CLEAR’s Move into Digital Finance,” Cornick will talk with Scarlett Sieber, Money20/20’s Chief Strategy and Growth Officer about how banks and fintech companies can leverage identity technology to save their customers time, without sacrificing the security of their platforms and data. CLEAR’s entrance into financial services comes after its acquisition of Sora ID, which was one of the first to market with a reusable KYC product. This technology, combined with CLEAR’s embedded 17 million person user base, will deliver a differentiated experience benefitting financial services and banking institutions, and their customers.

Overall, this year’s agenda, which includes over 60 hours of incredible content, presents speakers from the entire financial ecosystem including the largest banks in the world, VCs, payment providers, lending & credit companies, startups and disruptors and the largest tech companies on the planet. The agenda is being updated daily and can be found here.
