Auctane Appoints New Chief Product Officer and Chief Legal Officer

New hires signal continued growth and innovation for the delivery experience company

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Auctane, the leading global delivery experience company that operates trusted brands such as ShipStation, Stamps.com, and ShipEngine, today announced the appointment of two key executives to its leadership team. The company has welcomed Alexander Stevenson as its new Chief Product Officer and Kin Gill as its new Chief Legal Officer. Closely following the announcements of Al Ko as Auctane’s CEO and the company’s acquisition of Return Rabbit, these appointments underscore the company's continued commitment to delivering for its customers and partners.

Alexander Stevenson is a seasoned product management leader with a proven track record of delivering market-leading technology solutions. Stevenson joins Auctane as Chief Product Officer from Samsara, where he led the product team through the company's IPO in 2021. Stevenson is also an alumnus of Bain and Company, where he focused on the technology sector, setting strategy for clients in North America and Europe, and holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. As Chief Product Officer, Stevenson is responsible for developing and leading Auctane's global ecommerce product strategy. His deep experience leading cross-border product teams in Europe and beyond will play a vital role in steering Auctane's ecommerce roadmap.

Kin Gill brings decades of legal expertise to the role of Chief Legal Officer. Gill joins Auctane from Upland Software, where he led over a dozen acquisitions. Previously, Gill headed the legal team at Bazaarvoice, where he gained deep knowledge of the ecommerce industry and led the sale of the organization in 2018. Bringing executive leadership to Auctane's legal team, Gill will play a crucial role in seeking to advance relationships with partners and outcomes for Auctane's customers. His deep legal background and experience leading organizations through strategic transformations will be invaluable as Auctane continues to grow and evolve.

“We are proud to welcome a remarkable duo to the Auctane leadership team,” said Al Ko, CEO of Auctane. “Today, we are at a true industry inflection point, where exceptional shipping and delivery experiences have been deemed critical to our customers’ overall success. Alexander and Kin’s leadership and fresh perspectives will further Auctane in its quest to enable holistic delivery experiences for businesses around the world.”
