Jon Taffer & Shift4 Announce Two Winners for SkyTab Rescue Mission Contest

Park Supper Club in Chicago and Ralph’s Sports Bar in Staten Island Will Each Receive a $20,000 Business Grant, Consultation Call with Jon Taffer, and a Complete SkyTab POS System from Shift4

ALLENTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jon Taffer, an award-winning hospitality expert and star of popular TV show Bar Rescue, and Shift4 (NYSE: FOUR), the leader in integrated payments and commerce technology, have announced the winners of the SkyTab Rescue Mission contest they launched earlier this year to support restaurants in need of assistance. Each winner will receive a $20,000 business grant, a consultation with Jon Taffer, and a complete SkyTab POS System.

Earlier this year, Shift4 launched the SkyTab Rescue Mission Contest in partnership with Jon Taffer to provide critical support to small businesses in need of assistance. Each submission was carefully reviewed by Shift4 leadership and Jon Taffer to select the final winners, who were chosen based on the quality of their submission, their particular needs, and the impact they have on their local communities.

The first winner is The Park Supper Club, a lounge and event space in Chicago, IL.

“We located in this particular neighborhood even though a lot of people advised us not to. But we decided that was exactly what the community needed,” Maryann Marsh, co-owner of The Park Supper Club. “This prize will ensure The Park Supper Club can stay in this great community and remain a beacon of hope for other businesses like ours.”

The second winner is Ralph’s Sports Bar Restaurant, a sports bar, restaurant, and event space in Staten Island, NY.

“We are a community driven operation. Our goal is to support first responders, hospitals, local schools, and other nonprofit organizations,” said Ralph Tafuri, owner of Ralph’s Sports Bar Restaurant. “We see this as an opportunity to take our business to the next level and do more for the community.”
