Swift Medical’s Growth Continues with Appointment of Drew Narayan as SVP of Sales and Marketing

Narayan is poised to strengthen the company’s commercial functions to further impact in wound care

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Swift Medical, an advanced digital health technology company focused on improving clinical and economic outcomes in chronic and acute wound care, has appointed Drew Narayan as its new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, reporting into Neil Sharma, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Narayan is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience successfully leading commercial functions across the healthcare continuum, building teams across sales, marketing and business development functions. Most recently, Narayan served as the Chief Commercial Officer for PeriGen, Inc., the global leader in AI-powered perinatal care solutions and doubled the company’s sales to nearly $15M in four years. Prior to that, he led multi-million-dollar advertising strategies for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, including their go-to-market strategy of Medicare Part D plans.

“I am honored to welcome Drew to the Swift team and thrilled to work closely with him as we continue to accelerate Swift’s impact in new markets,” said Neil Sharma, Chief Commercial Officer at Swift. “Drew’s proven success of generating awareness and increasing use of AI-based healthcare products will be essential as we work to optimize our technology and implement new features to enhance clinician and patient use.”

The need for proper wound management is needed now more than ever, with conservative estimates for the yearly cost of wound care in the U.S. to grow to $82B by 2030, up from $67B today. The appointment of Narayan is another step in Swift’s continued growth strategy to ensure it has the technology, workforce and leadership team equipped to provide customers with the best possible tools that create more efficiencies among clinicians and ultimately provide better patient outcomes.

“We are so glad to have Drew join our leadership team to continue advancing our mission of making high-quality wound care accessible to more patients who need it most,” said Brian Litten, Swift CEO. “Drew brings the energy and urgency needed to drive meaningful change for our business and the patients and providers we serve.”

“Swift’s innovative technology and dedicated workforce has the power to transform wound care and help the patients most in need,” said Drew Narayan, SVP of Sales and Marketing at Swift. “I look forward to working alongside Neil and the team to make Swift Skin and Wound a household name in healthcare and showcase its ability to improve the archaic wound care process, the burden from which both clinicians and patients endure.”
