MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Heitman to the position of Country President, Canada, effective October 1, 2023. Emily succeeds Adrian Thomas, who announced his departure in June to assume a new role as CEO of Hammond Power Solutions.

As Country President for Schneider Electric Canada, Emily will work in partnership with the Canadian leadership team to drive Schneider Electric’s strategic initiatives and accelerate growth across the company’s energy management and automation businesses in Canada.

Emily joined Schneider Electric in 2017 and in her most recent role as Senior Vice President, Power Products and ASCO, U.S., Emily has led the business through a period of strong growth for the portfolio of low- and medium-voltage solutions and services. Prior to Schneider Electric, Emily served in key leadership and operations management roles at ABB and Eaton (formerly Cooper Industries).

Emily will be based in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Marquette University.
