2024 MDRT Executive Committee Provides Key Resources to Navigate a Changing Financial Landscape

PARK RIDGE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2024 MDRT Executive Committee ushers in a reinvigorated approach to supporting financial services professionals as Gregory B. Gagne, ChFC, assumes his role as MDRT’s 98th President and Clay Gillespie, CFP, CLU, joins as Secretary. The Executive Committee will empower financial services professionals at each stage of their careers with the necessary resources to help them reach and exceed their goals.

Gagne, a 24-year MDRT member, succeeds 22-year member Peggy Tsai, RFP, CCFP, who becomes MDRT’s Immediate Past President. Carol Kheng, ChFC, a 25-year member, and John F. Nichols, MSM, CLU, a 23-year member, assume new roles as First Vice President and Second Vice President, respectively, while Gillespie, a 22-year member, serves as Secretary.

The 2024 Executive Committee will continue its focus on meeting members where they are, with targeted communications directing them to benefits and resources to help advance their greatest personal interests and potential impact. Through its ongoing digital transformation initiative, MDRT continues to invest in and leverage technology to personalize and improve the MDRT member experience at every step of an advisor’s career journey.

Following the success of fully in-person events for the 2023 MDRT Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and the 2023 MDRT Global Conference in Singapore, MDRT will continue delivering engaging, educational gatherings into 2024. Members forge connections with one another during and after events through the MDRT App, available in eight languages. In addition to events, MDRT will continue to provide key educational content from MDRT members’ collective knowledge, peer mentoring program and leadership development opportunities.

MDRT has added more ways to engage, learn and grow through the MDRT Family of Brands, including MDRT, the MDRT Academy for advisors seeking to achieve MDRT-level production, and MDRT Global Services for field and home office leaders seeking to boost their leadership skills and foster an MDRT culture of excellence in their firms.

“The fast-paced changes within current global financial markets make this a pivotal time for advisors to forge trusting, comfortable relationships with their clients,” Gagne said. “MDRT is well-equipped to provide intuitive, smart solutions that provide members with personalized and relevant information in the ways they want to receive it, enhancing the overall quality of their client service.”

Gagne brings extensive MDRT experience to the leadership team with 19 Court of the Table and 15 Top of the Table qualifications. Gagne’s vast MDRT leadership background includes serving as the 2020 Top of the Table Global Council Member and Advisory Board Chair, and the 2019 Program Development Division Global Council Member. Gagne is an Excalibur Knight of the MDRT Foundation, and he has also served on its Board of Trustees.

Gillespie has 20 Court of the Table and 19 Top of the Table qualifications and has been involved with MDRT volunteerism for more than two decades.
