Baker Tilly Names Adam Grinde Illinois Managing Partner

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading advisory CPA firm Baker Tilly US, LLP (Baker Tilly) appoints Adam Grinde as managing partner for the firm’s Illinois market. Grinde succeeds Thomas Walker who transitioned to a regional leadership role as managing partner – Central U.S. effective June 1.

Grinde will provide leadership, management and strategic direction to grow the firm’s Illinois market. In addition, he will foster team member development and engagement, strengthening the firm’s presence in the community.

Grinde joined Baker Tilly in 2008 as a multinational assurance partner. He has held various leadership roles throughout his tenure, including overseeing the international practice and leading the Illinois manufacturing and distribution team. His expertise spans audit, advisory, and mergers and acquisitions for domestic and multinational firms. Additionally, he has adeptly navigated intricate accounting issues, managed process improvements, and collaborated with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on strategic matters, equipping him to meet clients’ complex needs and enhance their future opportunities.

Grinde is a lifelong Illinois resident with deep ties to the local community. He currently serves as a board member of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Foundation, and in the Chicago Council on Global Affairs president’s circle. He is also a member of the Illinois Council of Feed My Starving Children and a leadership council member of the Alzheimer’s Association.
