Gabriela Uquillas Selected as New Chief Financial Officer of the Dallas County Medical Society

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS) is pleased to announce that Gabriela Uquillas, MBA, has been selected as its new Chief Financial Officer. Gabriela will become just the third CFO in the 147-year history of DCMS. The search was led by Tuft & Associates, Inc., an executive search firm specializing in nonprofit placements.

A native of Ecuador, Gabriela earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her master’s in business administration at North Park University, Chicago. She has lived in the DFW metroplex since 2021.

Gabriela’s progressive career advancement is concentrated in finance, accounting, and operations. She is well- versed in financial strategy, budgeting, general accounting management, and supervising investment, tax, audit, human resources, and information technology. Most recently she served as Manager of Reporting, Budgeting, and Consolidation North America for HOYA VisionCare in Lewisville, TX. Prior to that role she was the director of finance and operations for the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in Elk Grove Village, IL.
