In 2011, Hodges felt called by God to help 1,000 churches break the 1,000 attendance barrier. Fueled by this calling, he began to support and equip church leaders in a hands-on and practical manner in their journey to reaching their God-given potential.

The desire for continuous personal growth among church leaders became apparent, leading to the establishment of GrowLeader in January 2021.

Highlands Resources, formerly known as GrowLeader, continues to provide invaluable resources to over 16,500 churches worldwide, without any cost to the recipients.

He also is passionate about launching and equipping other local churches through his co-founding of the Association of Related Churches (ARC) and founding of GrowLeader, a coaching network that trains and equips pastors and churches globally.
