Empower AI Appoints Pamela Rothka as Chief Financial Officer

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Empower AI (formerly NCI Information Systems), a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to U.S. government agencies, today announced the appointment of Pamela Rothka as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. A member of the executive leadership team, Pamela will partner with CEO Jeff Bohling and the Board of Empower AI to drive the company’s strategy and financial integrity during a time of significant growth.

As CFO, Rothka is responsible for all aspects of Empower AI’s financial, treasury, and corporate strategies, including financial planning and analysis, capital and cash management, accounting functions, and M&A. She also manages the company’s external audit and lender relationships. With nearly 30 years of financial leadership expertise, Pamela has held senior financial leadership roles at several leading privately held, private equity backed, and publicly traded government contractors, including serving as CFO of ECS Federal, Octo Consulting, and Buchanan & Edwards.

Pamela began her career as a Certified Public Accountant in a Big 4 Accounting Firm before progressing through industry. She serves on the board of directors at Make-a-Wish Mid-Atlantic in addition to serving as their Treasurer. She is also Chair of the CFO Council of WashingtonExec. Her exceptional record leading corporate development and strategy has won her numerous recognitions throughout her career including being named one of the Power Women of DC Tech by DCA Live as well as the 2022 Public Company Chief Financial Officer of the year by WashingtonExec. Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in management information systems.
