Large numbers of suppliers from the Peruvian manufacturing sector to attend Industria Perú 2023

LIMA, Peru--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On June 6 and 7, Lima will be the stage for the largest B2B business platform for industrial suppliers in the South American country. The Industria Perú business matchmaking event, organized by PROMPERU, will be the meeting point for international buyers and the most outstanding Peruvian micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, recognized for their innovation, reliability, and production capacity.

The manufacturing sector seeks to position Peru as a country with an export offer at competitive prices and with high quality standards.

On this commercial platform, foreign visitors will be able to explore a wide variety of product lines, such as containers and packaging, food industry equipment, construction finishes, cosmetics and natural ingredients, medical material and equipment, and auto parts.

International participants will also have the opportunity to make specialized visits to industrial parks and factories in Lima, Lambayeque, Junín, and Pasco. During these visits, they will be able to gain insight into the processes and production chains of the most well-known national businesses, discovering at first-hand the secrets of their manufacturing success.

Peru has demonstrated its exceptional ability as an international supplier to industry in recent years. In 2022, its shipments exceeded USD 5,587 million, representing an increase of 22.3% on the previous period.

Over 4,200 companies in this sector exported more than 2,770 products to 144 markets around the world, the main destinations being the United States (USD 1,034 million / +31%), Chile (USD 644 million / +24%), Colombia (USD 508 million / +3%), Ecuador (USD 489 million / +26%), and Bolivia (USD 471 million / +16%).

The fourteenth edition of this event will take place in Industry Week, organized by the National Society of Industries (SNI), and will be supported by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE), the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), and the Exporters Association (ADEX).
