Jason Colodne and Colbeck Capital Sponsor Children's Tumor Foundation's 2023 World NF Awareness Day Live Event in Support of Improved Patient Outcomes and Cutting-Edge Research

Over 80 percent of funds collected through efforts like World NF Awareness Day are directed into programs and research that directly serve CTF’s mission

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Colbeck Capital Management (“Colbeck”) today announced its continued support of Children’s Tumor Foundation (“CTF” or the “Foundation”) through sponsorship of the World NF Awareness Day Live Event to be held on May 17, 2023, during NF Awareness Month. The live event raises understanding and funds programs created to improve patient outcomes and support alongside cutting-edge NF research.

CTF is recognized as a leading voice to the NF community supporting the millions of people worldwide who are living with NF. NF is a group of genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow along the nervous system. The Foundation brings together the top innovators and researchers in the field to collaborate on new treatment modalities and improve patient care methodologies. Advancements in research are designed to improve the approach of NF diagnosis and expedite treatment regimens while expanding on the options available for patient support. Sponsorships provided by firms like Colbeck, led by Jason Colodne, are put to use immediately for awareness and care programs.

NF Awareness Month is just one occasion where the Foundation applies its resources to educate and raise money to support the research that can fuel clinical trials and shine a light on the people affected by the disease. Supporters are encouraged to participate in person or online throughout NF Awareness Month and World NF Awareness Day as CTF shares inspiring patient stories and updates on research.

In 2022, the Foundation’s pillars of driving research, advancing care, and expanding knowledge led to another ten advancements in NF including expanded clinical trials, innovative biomarker blood tests, and the advancement of therapy and gene editing projects. Over 80 percent of funds collected through fundraising efforts like World NF Awareness Day are directed into programs and research that directly serve CTF’s mission.
