Vizient Announces New Agreement with TriHealth to Deliver Cost Savings

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vizient, Inc. today announced that it has been selected by TriHealth, one of the top integrated health systems in Cincinnati, to deliver solutions in enterprise performance through Vizient’s market-leading contract portfolio and performance improvement resources. The contract was effective Nov. 1.

The agreement provides access to Vizient’s contract portfolio for medical devices, pharmacy and supplies as well as advisory resources to support cost and revenue improvement. The agreement also provides enhanced savings opportunities on medical and surgical consumables and physician preference items through group purchasing cooperative Partners Cooperative, which is exclusive to Vizient members.

TriHealth will receive support for clinical documentation improvement (CDI) to help ensure coding accuracy that will enhance quality of care reporting and optimize reimbursement. Improved documentation benefits providers’ case mix index and evaluation and management reporting by more accurately reflecting the acuity and care complexity of the patient population.
