Certinia Appoints Rick Caccia as Chief Marketing Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Certinia, the platform for services businesses, today announced the appointment of Rick Caccia as Chief Marketing Officer. Caccia will report to President and CEO Scott Brown and serve as a member of the executive team, overseeing Brand and Creative, Product Marketing, Global Communications, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations.

Caccia brings over 25 years of experience in marketing across enterprise SaaS, data management, and security markets. Most recently, Caccia was SVP Marketing for Palo Alto Networks’ security operations business, part of the $2B+ next-gen security products group. Previously, as the CMO for Google Cloud’s Security business unit, he covered Product Marketing and Demand Generation for security products including Chronicle and VirusTotal, and Google Cloud Platform security functionality. Earlier in his career, he led product and channel marketing at ArcSight, through the company’s IPO and later acquisition for $1.6 billion by HP.
