Mediacom Communications Announces Promotion of Paul Pecora to Group Vice President of Operations

GULF BREEZE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications today announced Paul Pecora has been promoted to Group Vice President of Operations for the Coastal Region. In this new role, Mr. Pecora will lead the day-to-day operations for an eight-state area that includes Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

A key focus of Mr. Pecora and his team in the years ahead will be the management of over of $50 million in state and federal grants awarded to Mediacom to expand broadband access to more than 27,500 homes and businesses within the Coastal Region.

Mr. Pecora joined Mediacom in 2009 as Area Director of the company’s Arizona and Southern California markets. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Coastal Region in 2015. Prior to joining Mediacom, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Comcast’s Tucson system.

Mr. Pecora will be replacing Doug Frank who is retiring from Mediacom after a long career in the cable industry that began with Hauser Communications in 1987 and included management positions at Time Warner Cable, TCI, AT&T and Comcast. Mr. Frank joined Mediacom in 2006 as Regional Vice President in Chillicothe, IL, and has been leading the Coastal Region since 2015.
