Aparavi Increases Sales and Marketing Presence with Addition of Two Industry Leaders

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aparavi, the company behind the award-winning Aparavi Data Intelligence and Automation Platform, today announced the hiring of Jerrod Gladden as its new vice president of sales and marketing and Barry Kunst as director of marketing. The two are tasked with furthering the penetration of the company’s platform into an ever-growing ecosystem of organizations that can benefit from simplified data management.

Gladden is a senior sales executive within global analytics organizations. He has a proven track record of success at the most complex Fortune 500 enterprises, the most complex OEM agreements, and in the SaaS marketplace with smaller deals at higher volume. Gladden comes to Aparavi from Kyvos Insights Inc. where he served as vice president of sales. He has additional executive leadership experience at Actian Corporation, Pervasive Software and Idera Software, among others.

Barry was previously the head of global marketing operations at Sitecore with stakeholders in Americas, EMEA and Asia. Prior to Sitecore, he served as director of marketing operations at Veritas Technologies, won multiple awards on ROMI for marketing tech achievements. Barry was also a senior manager of marketing at Broadcom Software and the Americas field marketing owning the FICO.com website.

The two newest executives join an experienced leadership team that helps organizations find and unlock the value of data, no matter where it lives. The Aparavi Platform finds, automates, governs and consolidates distributed data easily with deep intelligence into details like location, owner, events, creation data, last access data, extension type and modification date. With this information, users can take a first pass at eliminating ROT data as well as create automated policies for its archive, migration or deletion.

“The Aparavi platform continues to be a valuable asset to organizations looking to transform data into a competitive asset,” said Adrian Knapp, Founder and CEO of Aparavi. “We are looking to transform our company’s success into something much more and I believe that Jerrod and Barry are two of the people who can help us do that. With their background and experience in delivering IT resources to companies worldwide, we can leverage those capabilities to propel the Aparavi Platform into a greater number of use cases to ultimately help fuel innovation and accelerate knowledge everywhere.”
