Immuta Achieves Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery Designation

Immuta’s native BigQuery integration provides data discovery and classification, dynamic access and security controls, and always-on monitoring and reporting for joint users

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Immuta, a data security leader, today announced that it has successfully achieved Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery designation.

Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery is a partner integration validation program that intends to increase the customer confidence in partner integrations into BigQuery. As part of this initiative, Google Cloud engineering teams validate partner integrations into BigQuery in a three-phase process - run a series of data integration tests and compare results against benchmarks, work closely with partners to fill any gaps, and refine documentation for our customers.

Being part of the program, Immuta gets more opportunities to collaborate closely with Google Cloud partner engineering and BigQuery teams to develop joint roadmaps. The designation follows the introduction of Immuta’s native Google Cloud BigQuery integration last year, which provides customers with comprehensive data access control and security posture management for sensitive data stored in the Google Cloud ecosystem. This enables data and compliance teams to fully execute their BigQuery data-driven initiatives without security concerns.

By earning this designation, Immuta has proven its solution has met a core set of functional and interoperability requirements when integrating with BigQuery. This designation enables customers to discover and have confidence that Immuta’s offerings work well with BigQuery or save time on evaluating them, if not already using.

“The number of users and the amount of data on cloud platforms like Google Cloud BigQuery are growing exponentially, and as organizations continue their digital transformations journeys, they must ensure that they collect and share that data securely, and unlock more value,” said Matthew Carroll, CEO, Immuta. “We’re thrilled to receive Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery designation, as it is a testament to not only our continued partnership, but also of Immuta’s ability to help joint customers wield the power of Google Cloud where streamlined and secure data access can help drive more informed business decisions.”

“We’re delighted to recognize Immuta as Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery. The Google Cloud Ready - BigQuery designation validates that Immuta’s platform integration and data security capabilities deliver strong customer value and experiences with BigQuery,” said Ritika Suri, Director, Technology Partnerships at Google Cloud.
