Forbes Gathers The Best And Brightest Young Entrepreneurs in Botswana For The Second Annual Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In April 2022, Forbes held its first-ever Under 30 Summit Africa, which convened the world’s most elite young entrepreneurs and game-changers. The Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa will return to Botswana once again from April 23-26, 2023, to harness the power of entrepreneurial capitalism amid a country whose growth is ripe with opportunities for young entrepreneurs and rapidly becoming a hive of business and technological innovation – not to mention a nation that ranks highest for the most women business owners than any other in Africa, continues to help define the 21st century.

Internationally recognized today as one of the best destinations for doing business in Africa, Botswana boasts a wealth of resources to entrepreneurs alike – making it an ideal location to assemble the best and brightest young business leaders to connect, learn, teach, build, and network.

Over the course of three days in Botswana’s capital, Gaborone, participants from the Under 30 Africa community, the local Botswana business community and the global Under 30 network, will gather to share a platform for networking and crucial conversations rooted in sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Forbes has confirmed a world-class slate of local and international speakers who will share insights and influence for the newest – and next–generation of leaders. Those joining us in Botswana include:

Last year, the Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit was instrumental in aiding the youth of the world to become torch bearers, remarked the President of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi. “These young leaders are becoming the torch bearers and change agents of development through entrepreneurship, showing the power of hope among this generation.”

The three-day event presents an unrivalled opportunity for cultural immersion, inspiration and networking on an international scale.
