In this position, Strong will collaborate with CNM’s Managing Partner Sanjay Sheth to further develop the firm’s personnel and culture while spearheading global business operations and strategic initiatives to support the firm’s continued growth. Offering professional services to a wide range of companies, from start-ups to multi-national Fortune 500 companies, Strong and Sheth will work together as CNM continues its trajectory as an award-winning workplace and leading provider of technical accounting, internal control and IT advisory services.

Since 2016, Strong served as Chief Financial Officer of Apeel Sciences, a Time Genius 50 Company, where he led capital processes raising over $635 million from investors including Temasek, GIC, Viking Global Investors, Andreessen Horowitz, Upfront Ventures, and IFC (World Bank Group). While at Apeel, he operationalized the business in twelve countries across five continents and led a wide range of financial and operational functions including accounting, corporate finance, legal, information technology, sustainability, real estate, regulatory and compliance, supply chain, and international operations. Strong started his career in audit with Ernst & Young, where he fell in love with his startup and growth technology clients. Following his time with Ernst & Young, he spent several years in operational finance roles with renowned technology incubator, Idealab, and has dedicated the majority of his career leading a number of venture and private-equity backed startup and growth companies through the unique challenges they face.
