John Larkins Named Head of General Liability at Hudson Insurance Group

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hudson Insurance Group (Hudson) today announced the appointment of John Larkins as senior vice president and head of general liability. This position encompasses the management of Hudson’s entire general liability portfolio, including binding authority, wholesale casualty, which is offered on a primary and excess basis, and related programs.

Mr. Larkins joined Hudson in 2022, bringing more than two decades of experience in underwriting and claims across the insurance industry. He most recently served as vice president and chief underwriting officer of Berkley Aspire, and held various positions of increasing responsibility at Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters, Max Specialty/Alterra and James River Group.

Mr. Larkins holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is based in Richmond, VA and reports to Mr. Gallagher.
