Texas Methodist Foundation Announces Fall 2022 Grant Recipients

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Texas Methodist Foundation (TMF), a leading grantor in Texas and New Mexico dedicated to uniting faith and money to respond to the needs of the world, is pleased to announce it has awarded $700,000 to 36 churches, schools, and organizations for its fall 2022 grant cycle.

All recipients this cycle share a focus on improving social determinants of health – an economic and social factors model that predicts health and well-being outcomes beyond genetics and access to medical care, including factors such as employment, nutrition, continuing education, mental health, and housing support.

“TMF is proud to partner with each of these incredible organizations as they create lasting impact in their communities,” said Wendy Abel, TMF Vice President of Grants. “Our grantees are committed to helping their communities flourish by using innovative approaches to improving health and well-being, and we look forward to the work they will do to enrich the lives of those they serve.”
