IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arbonne International has received recertification as a Certified B Corporation™ ("B Corp"), earning an overall score of 119.9 and far exceeding the median score of 50.9 for ordinary businesses who complete the B Impact Assessment.

The California-based beauty and wellness company has been certified as a B Corporation since 2019. Arbonne is required to complete a rigorous recertification process every three years to maintain their status and meet verified higher levels of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Arbonne’s recertification score includes substantial increases across multiple categories:
- 174 percent increase in environmental impact
- 21 percent increase in community welfare
- 104 percent increase in customer welfare

- Reduce energy consumption by 20% by 2025 compared to 2019 baseline year. In 2021 the company’s total absolute worldwide electricity consumed was down 32.5%, and total absolute worldwide natural gas consumption was down 30% (both compared to baseline year).
- Reduce water consumption 20% by 2025, compared to 2019 baseline. In 2021, Arbonne achieved a 48% total reduction of absolute water use across all sites due to water reclamation and recycling innovations in manufacturing.
- Reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions 50% by 2025, compared to 2019 baseline. As of 2021 Arbonne achieved a 29% reduction and is on track to meet the 2025 goal this year, two years ahead of schedule. Arbonne has converted all sites to renewable electricity or renewable energy credits to eliminate Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions entirely from its portfolio.
