Arajet Expands Service Between Santo Domingo and Colombia

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arajet, the newest low-fare airline in the Caribbean region, today announced that it has commenced operations to Medellín and Bogotá, making the airline a leading carrier between Santo Domingo and Colombia. Arajet is offering 4,800 weekly seats to Colombia, connecting Santo Domingo with point-to-point flights to Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellin and Bogota.

Since launching in September 2022, more than 60,000 passengers have experienced the service of Arajet aboard its state-of-the-art fleet of Boeing 737MAX8 aircrafts. The airline currently serves 18 destinations in 11 countries in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.

Arajet offers non-stop service from Santo Domingo to:

  • Mexico City, Monterrey and Cancun, Mexico
  • San Salvador, El Salvador
  • San Jose, Costa Rica
  • Guatemala City, Guatemala
  • Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellín and Bogotá, Colombia

  • Saint Marteen, Aruba, Curacao and Jamaica in the Caribbean
