LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On December 1st local time, the winners of the 34th Huading Awards Global Film Satisfaction Survey were released in Los Angeles. The Indian film "Jai Bhim" took home the 34th Huading Awards for Best Global Picture, while Canadian director Denis Villeneuve won Best Global Director for "Dune" and American actor Will Smith won Best Global Actor for "King Richard". The Best Global Actress went to Spanish goddess Penélope Cruz for "Parallel Mothers".

"Drive My Car" took home Best Global Screenplay for Ryûsuke Hamaguchi and Takamasa Oe. The US actor Jesse Plemons won Best Supporting Actor for "The Power of the Dog" and Ethiopian-Irish actress Ruth Negga won Best Supporting Actress for "Passing". Throughout the list of 12 award categories, winners of this year's Huading Awards, film works and filmmakers from 7 countries have won awards.

The 34th Huading Awards Global Film Satisfaction Survey covers outstanding films released in countries and regions around the world from January 1 to December 31, 2021. Two of the awards were already announced when the last nominations were revealed: the United State film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" won the honorable title as Winner of Global Film Satisfaction Survey and 90-year-old renowned American actress Rita Moreno won the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is the first Latina in the world to have won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award at the same time, so she deserves to win the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Huading Awards.

Canadian director Denis Villeneuve was named the Best Global Director for his sci-fi epic "Dune". The famous Hollywood director, nicknamed "Bullfrog" by Chinese fans, has been nominated for several international film awards, including the Oscars, but has not won many awards, except for several awards at Canadian Film Fest.

Throughout the list of 12 award categories of the 34th Huading Awards, a total of film works or filmmakers from seven countries including the United States, Spain, India, Japan, Italy, Canada, and Ireland won awards. It is a veritable film reputation award with a global perspective.
