NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seward & Kissel LLP announced today that Holt Goddard, most recently general counsel of an international biotech company, has joined the firm as counsel in the Capital Markets and Corporate Securities Group in New York.

Holt has extensive experience in capital markets, with a particular focus on IPOs and high yield bond offerings. Partner Ted Horton added, “We are thrilled to have Holt on board to further support our group as we advise clients on nearly all types of capital markets transactions, public company reporting obligations, and governance matters.”

Prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Holt served as general counsel of international biotechnology company HUYABIO International and was previously a partner at White & Case. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his M.B.A. from Yale School of Management.
