VideaHealth Names Veteran Dentistry Technology Leader as VP of Business Development

Tennli Nelson joins the leading customer-centric dental AI company to guide strategic partnerships

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VideaHealth, the leading dental diagnostic AI solution, today announced the appointment of dental technology veteran Tennli Nelson as vice president of business development. Nelson brings nearly two decades of dental industry experience in business development, sales, product and customer experience, including successful roles at SolutionReach and Dental Intelligence Inc., to VideaHealth’s team.

In this role, Nelson will manage and grow VideaHealth’s strategic partnerships, which includes Heartland Dental, 42 North and more. These partnerships will help guide VideaHealth to more than 7,500 dental practices by late 2023, providing dentists with chair-side dental AI for improvements in diagnostic accuracy, treatment plan acceptance and patient outcomes.

"We're transforming dental care with purpose-built solutions, amplifying dentists' expertise with evidence-based solutions to help them better diagnose and treat patients," said Florian Hillen, founder and CEO of VideaHealth. "And we're doing all this without adding cumbersome workflow steps. Tennli's vast experience in dental technology and relationships with individual dentists and practice groups make her the perfect addition to our team to strengthen alliances and ultimately help more patients."

"When I began my career, I sought to understand what dentists look for in their tools and workflows - to uncover the 'missing piece," said Tennli Nelson, VP of business development. "AI is that missing piece. VideaHealth's lightning-fast AI solutions help inform dentists' treatment decisions, supported by hundreds of millions of data points from 50X more X-rays than a dentist will see in her lifetime. With our AI, we have the potential to reach and positively impact one billion patients."
