CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armstrong Transport Group (“Armstrong,” or the “Company”), a leading non-asset-based logistics provider, today announced the grand opening of its new Charlotte headquarters. Located on the fifth floor of the Vantage building, a five-acre mixed-use development in Charlotte’s vibrant South End, Armstrong’s new, state-of-the-art office space will help foster collaboration across Armstrong’s workforce, in addition to increasing opportunities to recruit local talent and give back to the local Charlotte community.
Armstrong is occupying the entire fifth floor of Vantage’s modern East Tower. Comprising more than 27,000 sq feet, this new space is more than double the size of Armstrong’s previous headquarters and has ample workspace for up to 225 employees. The Company currently employs more than 250 corporate employees, with 125 located in Charlotte and the remainder spread across offices in Chicago and Boise. Armstrong also provides back-office support to more than 150 freight agent offices and 600 logistics professionals nationwide. As one of the largest third-party logistics (“3PL”) companies in the U.S. with over $1 billion in revenue, Armstrong plans to hire more than 100 employees nationwide in 2023 to match its pace of growth.
