AM Best to Lead Session at FDCC’s 2022 Insurance Industry Institute Program

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate at the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel’s (FDCC) Insurance Industry Institute (I-3) event, which takes place Nov. 10-11, 2022, in New York.

The I-3 program brings together leading industry experts to discuss the state of the insurance marketplace following the pandemic and examine current insurance coverage issues and line of business opportunities to address current and future risk exposures.

Michael Lagomarsino, senior director, AM Best, will lead the opening session, titled, “Post-COVID, Climate Change and the Current State of the Insurance Marketplace.” During the session, Lagomarsino will discuss leading issues affecting carriers, including climate risks such as wildfires and floods, as well as supply chain issues and international developments, and how AM Best is examining the responses of insurance companies to these challenges. Lagomarsino has nearly three decades of experience in the insurance industry, and is responsible for analytical teams that provide rating coverage for a diverse group of domestic and multinational insurers, including major writers of commercial lines business. He also holds the certified financial analyst designation and is a certified financial risk manager. The session will take place Nov. 10 at 9:05 a.m. (EST).

The program, which takes place at the Sheraton Hotel Times Square, is open to FDCC members, as well as non-members who are insurance professionals and insurance coverage and defense attorneys. For more information, please visit the event webpage.
