Compounding and concentrate firm opens the curtain on how it enables customers and their brands

CLINTON, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Techmer PM has released its first-ever sustainability report. The 43-page document showcases some of the company’s enablement technologies and internal initiatives to provide sustainable solutions to various stakeholders.

The report highlights how Techmer PM’s innovative solutions help their customers engage in responsible Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) business practices. “At Techmer PM, we believe that becoming sustainable at the core means addressing the social element of sustainability within our organization. This report serves as a communication tool on our progress and highlights some of our ongoing work and accomplishments relating to sustainability,” said Michael McHenry, Chief Executive Officer of Techmer PM.

The report also emphasizes how every Techmer PM employee plays a role in achieving sustainability. “At Techmer, our most valuable resource is our people. Our Corporate Social Responsibility team has embodied this by championing various efforts for all our stakeholders and the business,” said Michael.

He added that this would be the first of many sustainability reports to come as the company continues to enable a better world through its operations and innovative solutions.

Some other key highlights of the report include:

  • How Techmer PM’s innovative technology is designed for sustainable outcomes.
  • How every employee is empowered to play a role in cultivating a diverse and safe culture so everyone can do their best work and win together.
  • Techmer PM’s internal approach to sustainability by minimizing waste, optimizing energy, and reducing water consumption.

“The sustainability report is one of the ways we can showcase Techmer PM’s broad range of solutions without neglecting the importance of sustainability. For example, three of our production facilities are now zero waste-to-landfill, with certification audits planned for next year – it’s something we’re very proud of and look forward to continuing,” said Kaan Serpersu, Product Development and Sustainability Manager, Techmer PM.

Moving forward, Techmer PM plans to continue investigating renewable energy offerings for all sites, and work towards certifying the Dalton, Georgia, and Rancho Dominguez, California facilities as zero waste-to-landfill. The company also plans to continue engaging team members to ensure the company fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
