NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Broad Sky Partners (“Broad Sky”), a private equity firm that partners with leading middle market business services and consumer companies, today announced that the firm has hired Marjorie Lopez as Vice President. Ms. Lopez will focus on Broad Sky’s investments in the Consumer sector.
Prior to joining Broad Sky, Ms. Lopez supported Consumer sector investments at RX3 Growth Partners. There, she worked on notable investments such as Nom Nom (acquired by Mars) and Orgain (acquired by Nestle). She led RX3’s investments in Taxa Outdoors and Therabody, marking the latter’s first institutional investment. Previously, she was an associate in Barclay’s Consumer Retail Investment Banking group and an analyst in the company’s Equity Research group, focused on the retail hardlines / broadlines space. Ms. Lopez started her career in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs.
Ms. Lopez is a board member of Latinx VC, a non-profit organization focused on expanding and sustaining the Latinx investor ecosystem. She is also a member of All Raise, a non-profit that seeks to support women in venture capital.
