Highview Capital Continues Growth of its Team through Promotion and New Hires

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Highview Capital, LLC (“Highview”), a Los Angeles-based middle-market private equity firm, today announced the promotion of Victor Bunce to Vice President as well as the expansion of its existing team with three new professionals. Krysty Penwell and Scott Kingsley have joined as Vice Presidents and Christian Boorom has joined as an Associate.

Victor Bunce joined Highview in July 2020 and works across a variety of existing portfolio companies including GS Foods, Randall Foods and Watterson. Victor also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Watterson. Prior to joining Highview, Victor worked at Harris Williams, a leading middle market investment bank providing mergers & acquisitions advisory services in the consumer sector. He is based in Los Angeles and graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a M.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics.

Krysty Penwell is a Vice President on Highview's business development team. She is focused on developing relationships with investment bankers and augmenting the firm’s coverage for new deal opportunities. Krysty joins from CenterOak Partners, a private equity fund focused on investments in industrial growth, consumer, and business services. She was previously at Cambridge Associates, an investment portfolio management and advisory services firm. She is based in Dallas and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics. ​

Scott Kingsley is a Vice President on Highview's business development team. He is focused on driving the firm’s outreach for proprietary investment opportunities. Scott joins from Great River Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on industrial technology and services companies. He was previously at JMC Capital Partners, a private equity fund investing in industrial products and industrial technology-focused companies. He is based in Boston and graduated from The College of Holy Cross with a B.A. in Political Science.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Christian Boorom is an Associate on Highview’s investment team. He is focused on all aspects of the investment process including evaluation, diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities. Christian joins the firm from L.E.K. Consulting, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors, including consumer, industrials, and healthcare. He was also previously at Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on strategy for financial institutions. He is based in Los Angeles and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. in Accounting.
