Opterus Releases OPSEngine, Allowing Retailers To Seamlessly Integrate OPSCENTER Into Internal Systems

With OPSEngine, retailers can streamline store operations and communications

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Opterus, the leading provider of cost-effective, cloud store communications and task management solutions, today announced the release of OPSEngine, a packaged set of APIs that provides retailers access to all of OPSCENTER’s features through a seamless integration into the brands’ internal systems.

By making it possible for retailers to integrate OPSCENTER into their systems, they can ensure that all information and data are connected and easily accessible, streamlining communication and task management among stores and employees.

Opterus created OPSEngine to allow retailers and brands to easily access OPSCENTER information and modules through their point-of-sale (POS), workforce management (WFM) or custom company portal systems. OPSEngine can also send store or user-specific information to user headsets or to back-room displays.

“OPSEngine puts the power of extending OPSCENTER functions directly into retailers’ hands,” said Rick Peters, chief product officer, Opterus. “OPSEngine allows front-end developers to build a custom user interface based on OPSCENTER’s functionality, while leaving the back-end complexity to OPSCENTER. So, retailers can use the standard OPSCENTER UIs and simultaneously extend it into their other systems, or build an entirely custom UI if needed.”
