Envoy Welcomes David McNeil as Chief Revenue Officer

Former HubSpot and Salesforce executive joins workplace platform to help companies and their employees connect and thrive during The Great Return-to-Work

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Envoy, the workplace platform that helps teams manage hybrid work, welcomes former HubSpot and Salesforce executive David McNeil as Chief Revenue Officer. On July 18th, David will take charge of the revenue and growth strategy for the company that is making hybrid work easier for all. He will oversee expansion efforts, which include breaking new ground in the commercial real estate market and positioning the company to operate in every workplace in the world.

David spent six years at HubSpot, where he plotted a path from $90M in annual recurring revenue to $1B. Before landing his role at HubSpot, he led North American business development at Salesforce where he drove over 30 percent new business growth. David’s talent is building highly-effective go-to-market teams that speed growth and deliver unexpected value.

Most recently, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Tebra.com, a merger of healthcare startups PatientPop and Kareo.

For 15 years, David has made it his mission to help startups reach unicorn and IPO status and drive aggressive growth. “David is exactly the kind of revenue leader that Envoy needs to launch its next stage of growth. He is experienced, opinionated, and knows what GTM success looks like,” said Larry Gadea, founder and CEO of Envoy. “And he’s committed to really great customer experiences, which is what we’re all about.”

“Envoy is a fast-paced, supercharged tech company, which is the type of environment I love. My job will be to scale this business to the nth degree,” said David McNeil. “I'm looking forward to talking with customers and prospects about the value and efficiencies of Envoy that can flex to meet any uncertainty. I’m committed to making their experience exceptional.”

He added: “At Envoy, I see a place where people can grow, have fun, and win together, which is why I’m joining. I also see another billion dollar revenue company in the making, and that has me very excited.”

Envoy brings people together safely in the workplace so they can connect, collaborate, and thrive. Despite the pandemic, Envoy's growth – in product usage and revenue – has increased dramatically. In 2021, Envoy added more new revenue than in 2019 and 2020 combined. As employees return, thousands of customers leverage their Envoy data to make critical space decisions.

In January 2022, Envoy secured $111 million in Series C funding led by Brookfield Growth. Existing investors Menlo Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Initialized Capital, and Haystack also participated. Envoy is currently valued at $1.4 billion.
