Kyruus Announces Paul Merrild as Company’s First President

Leadership Team Expansion Follows Year of Accelerated Growth

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyruus, the leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for healthcare organizations, announced that Paul Merrild will join the company as its first president, beginning July 11, reporting to Kyruus’ Founder and CEO Graham Gardner, M.D. Merrild joins Kyruus following a year of record-breaking growth across the healthcare provider, health plan, and digital health markets.

Merrild brings more than 25 years of experience leading sales, marketing, customer success, mergers and acquisitions, operations, and product development for healthcare IT and healthcare services organizations serving independent physician groups, health systems, and health plans. He will focus on scaling the company’s core business operations while Dr. Gardner will continue executing on the company’s overall strategic vision and growth, including its business development, partnership, and acquisition activities.

Merrild joins Kyruus from Sound Physicians, where he served as Chief Growth Officer. Prior to Sound Physicians, Paul served in a variety of roles with athenahealth, including general manager for the enterprise business unit and head of sales, where he led company-wide sales, strategy, and relationship management across all market segments. He also brings deep expertise in product management and marketing from his previous experiences with GE Healthcare and Merge Healthcare.
