Agilysys Becomes Visa Ready Certified to Provide Hospitality Organizations and Guests with an Optimal Tap to Pay Experience

Visa Ready certification will help ensure all Agilysys applications that accept payments meet Visa’s requirements for contactless payments

ALPHARETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation SaaS and on-premise hospitality software solutions and services, today announced it is now a Visa Ready certified partner, giving Agilysys hospitality clients – and their guests – peace of mind that the Agilysys technology solution they choose meets Visa’s high standards for security. Visa, a world leader in digital payments, offers contactless ‘tap to pay’ payments for cardholders with a contactless chip card or mobile payment-enabled device for secure, convenient and touch-free transactions. Visa Tap to Pay technology observes stringent EMV requirements, which Agilysys will follow for all of its property management system (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) applications that accept payments.

The partnership will include traditional POS devices as well as mobile POS and PMS terminals to process payments. Agilysys Pay supports all Visa contactless EMV requirements, and as a result, all Agilysys PMS and POS applications that accept payments will support these requirements.
