Stellar Cyber Adds Seasoned Industry Veterans to Management Team

Former Cybereason, Exabeam Executives Elevate MSSP Leadership and Product Marketing

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stellar Cyber, the innovator of Open XDR, today is excited to announce it has expanded its management team with the addition of two experienced industry leaders, Stephan Tallent as Worldwide Vice President, Service Providers and Stephen Salinas as Head of Product Marketing.

Stephan Tallent brings extensive cybersecurity industry experience, particularly with MSSPs, to his new role with Stellar Cyber. Previously as Vice President, Managed Security Service Providers at Cybereason, he led new partner recruitment and onboarding, along with revenue optimization and go-to-market for service provider partners. Prior to his role at Cybereason, Tallent was Senior Director, MSSP at market leader Fortinet.

“I am elated to join Stellar Cyber, whose Open XDR approach creates an enormous opportunity for MSSPs to streamline their security operations,” said Stephan Tallent, Worldwide Vice President, Service Providers at Stellar Cyber. “XDR is an evolution, not a revolution in security services, and it shouldn’t mean vendor lock-in. I look forward to continuing to be an advocate for MSSP service evolution and helping partners be more effective and profitable in security service delivery.”

Stephen Salinas is a skilled industry executive with vast product marketing experience in cybersecurity. He previously held Director of Product Marketing positions at numerous leading security companies including Exabeam, Siemplify, Deep Instinct, Cylance and Alert Logic.

“There is an underserved segment of the market that for years has been an afterthought for the majority of cybersecurity vendors,” said Stephen Salinas, Head of Product Marketing at Stellar Cyber. “Stellar Cyber is committed to delivering solutions for this market that provide value from day one, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring my experience to the team to help spread the word.”

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Stephan and Stephen to the Stellar Cyber management team,” said Changming Liu, CEO and co-founder of Stellar Cyber. “They join at an excellent time. As we continue to experience significant growth with both MSSP and enterprise customers, it is essential that we add experienced executives like Stephan and Stephen to help accelerate our rapid worldwide expansion.”
