PharmScript Announces Second Annual Nurse Impact Award

SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PharmScript, a leading pharmacy provider to long-term care and post-acute care facilities, today announced the winners of its Second Annual Nurse Impact Award in honor of National Nurses Week.

The second annual recipients of the Nurse Impact Award include,

  • Rebecca Chapie, Key Account Manager and RN at PharmScript.
  • Della Demaree, LPN, Charge Nurse at Greenwood Healthcare Center in IN.
  • Sherry Keller, RN, Charge Nurse at Greenwood Healthcare Center in IN.

The Nurse Impact Award was created in 2021 to recognize and celebrate some of the outstanding nurses who are working tirelessly to deliver the best quality care to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care facilities.

Colleagues from PharmScript and their partner facilities submitted nominations to recognize a team member for their dedication and hard work. This year's winners were selected from a pool of nominees from 24 states.

Each award recipient will receive a congratulatory plaque to recognize their achievement, and a charitable donation will be made on their behalf to an organization of their choice.

"We are proud to award this year's recipients as a thank you for their hard work and dedication to the field of long-term care," said Mindy Ferris, RPh, Executive Vice President of Pharmacy Operations and Customer Success at PharmScript. "We started this program during the pandemic to highlight the exceptional nurses we have the privilege of working alongside. These nurses were nominated by their peers for going above and beyond, and we're pleased to celebrate them for the compassionate, life-changing work they do every day."

Award recipients were nominated from partners of PharmScript's 20 pharmacies, which serve more than 900 facilities and 120,000 residents across the United States and were selected by a committee.
