BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PRO Unlimited, an Integrated Workforce Management (IWM) platform provider, today announced the appointment of Dr. Christina Dempsey to its board of directors. With her deep knowledge within the space, Christy will provide new insights, guidance and support to the PRO team. This will be critical as the company expands and leverages its IWM platform to deliver innovative client and enhanced worker experience solutions across industries such as healthcare.

Christy is a C-suite executive, educator, medical practitioner and member of numerous organizations and boards. She has served as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for 10 years, and most recently, as CNO emeritus at Press Ganey, a mission-driven organization committed to reducing patient and caregiver suffering and improving the safety, quality, and experience of care. She is currently an adjunct faculty member for the Missouri State University School of Nursing. Additionally, she is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, the President-Elect of the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders, a member of the Nightingale College Board of Managers and co-chair of the ANA Nursing Administration Scope and Standards revision workgroup redefining nursing leadership.

Her book, “The Antidote to Suffering: How Compassionate Connected Care Can Improve Safety, Quality, and Experience,” was released in 2017 and continues to be a beloved resource for clinician practice, patient experience and caregiver education. In 2018 and again in 2020, Christy was named one of the “50 patient safety experts to know” in the US by Becker’s Hospital Review.
