Hong Kong Startup MINEO Founders Selected for 90 Day Finn Program in Helsinki

HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hong Kong startup MINEO founders Dominique Moralez and Tanya Moralez are among 19 individuals selected from a worldwide search to participate in the 90 Day Finn program, organised by Helsinki Partners, the marketing, investment and talent attraction company owned by the City of Helsinki, Finland.

In 2021, the inaugural 90 Day Finn program received over 5300 applications from investors, entrepreneurs, executives and tech talents worldwide, from which 13 participants were selected. The selection process for the 90 Day Finn program includes a series of interviews, from which 19 participants were selected for the 2022 cohort. The upcoming 90 Day Finn program begins in August 2022, in Helsinki, Finland.

The 90 Day Finn programme organiser, Helsinki Partners, offers participants the opportunity to be “immersed in one of the most innovative business ecosystems and one of the most sustainable cities on the planet”, as stated on the company’s official website. In addition, the programme offers participants with introductions to key business and policy influencers, relevant business networks and hubs, and office space at Sofia Helsinki.

"In addition to the potential for international business expansion to the Nordics, we were strongly drawn to the 90 Day Finn program because of the benefits extended to our children, including assistance with day care and access to the world-renowned Finnish educational system", stated Tanya Moralez.

The 90 Day Finn participants who choose to extend their stay will receive support from Helsinki Partners in applying for a long term residence permit. Voted the “happiest country in the world” for the fifth year in a row in an annual UN-sponsored index, Finland prides itself on nurturing work-life balance, as a central benefit of living in the Nordic country.

“We are extremely grateful for this opportunity, and thrilled to be among the 19 individuals selected to participate in the 90 Day Finn program. Establishing a presence in the Nordics, with our first steps in Finland, will allow us to proudly share the spirit and ingenuity of startups from Greater China, in a thriving and supportive European ecosystem”, stated Dominique Moralez.

The Moralez co-founders have successfully launched three Hong Kong startups, including Fenix TLS, a language solutions provider, MINEO, a global investor matching platform, and MINEO DOCS, a legal documentation platform, and joined the Tencent WeStart (HK) community in 2018.
