Stratton & Brätt Gifts $5000 in Trees to Utah Valley for Arbor Day

Company Again Wins Best of State Recognition

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marking National Arbor Day, Stratton & Brätt announced today the gifting of mature trees to interested public Utah Valley organizations. The five trees, valued at $1000 each, are currently 20 feet tall and are the same variety Stratton & Brätt is currently installing as part of the St. George Temple remodeling project. In addition, the company adds to its 2021 Best of State Awards accolades in both the Landscaping and Pool and Spa categories, with the 2022 Best of State Award for the Pool and Spa Category.

“We are appreciative of the accolades for our work, but want to make sure that we give back to the community that gives us the opportunity to serve,” states Jason Laws, Utah State Arborist of the Year and head arborist for Stratton and Brätt. “Trees are the lungs of the earth and are vital to a thriving ecosystem. We encourage everyone to plant a tree.”

Known locally as the London Plain or Bloodgood variety, the trees are expected to grow to be 80 ft tall and 70 ft wide. Organizations interested in receiving a mature tree should email david@strattonandbratt.com.

This year’s Best of State Award is added to the company’s many other recognitions, including Utah Valley BusinessQ UV 50; Inc. 500 America‘s Fastest Growing Companies; Sandy Summit Award; American Society of Landscape Architects Award of Excellence & Merit Awards; Associated Landscape Contractors of America Environmental Improvement Award of Distinction.
