2022 Orlando Predators Arena Football Team Announces Its Final Roster as the Season Returns to Central Florida and the Amway Center This Summer!

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Orlando Predators Arena Football Team of the National Arena League (NAL) has just wrapped up their pre-season camp, and Head Coach Jeff Higgins announced the final roster for the 2022 season. In its 2nd year under new ownership and management, the energy has been undeniable, and the excitement throughout the organization is incomparable. There is no question that the mix of talent and arena football experience will be at the forefront of another Orlando Predators run at a 3rd league championship.

The Preds will begin the season with the first two games on the road beginning this Saturday in San Antonio, with the home opener on May 7th at the Amway Center for Military Appreciation Night, kickoff at 7p.

Outside of the great mix of talent and experience, there are a few fantastic personalities on this year’s roster. One of our team leaders and fan favorites coming back this year is none other than veteran starting center DeQuan Murray. DeQuan’s energy and enthusiasm for the game and the fans are infectious. We can expect big plays on both sides of the ball from this Preds veteran all season.

Head Coach Jeff Higgins promises to bring a brand of football that is fast, exciting, and hard-hitting and action packed. The Preds fans are going to have a ton of fun watching them play with an array of end zone celebrations, “Big Hits List” tackles along the sideline boards, and of course, high fives and helmet slaps with the fan-base after monster plays all season long. Coach Higgs, who is known for his sideline intensity but prefers to fly under the radar when it comes to making bold statements about the season, recently made reference to the difference between the jungle and a rain forest. “The jungle is where you find the predators, and that’s all I have to say about that”! Note: ‘The Jungle’, has been the moniker given to Amway Center when the Preds are playing.

After an intense pre-season camp, the coaching staff has put together a “Watch List” of veteran players that he expects to make a big impact this season for the Predator’s championship run.
