Matt Jensen joins G2 Venture Partners as an Investor

PORTOLA VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today G2 Venture Partners, a venture capital firm dedicated to building and supporting technology companies sustainably digitizing traditional industries, announced the hiring of Matt Jensen.

Matt Jensen joins G2 Venture Partners as an Investor. Prior to joining G2, Matt spent several years as an investor at Golden Gate Capital. There, he was responsible for developing investment theses, leading transactions, and partnering with seasoned management teams across a diverse set of traditional industrial sectors, with particular focus on energy and industrial technology businesses. Matt has deep experience working with industrial incumbent market-leaders as they navigate evolving competition and customer expectations. He has served in strategy/advisory and technology-oriented roles, both directly and as a consultant during his time at Bain & Company, working with some of the world’s largest businesses in sectors such as agriculture, public utilities, logistics, and diversified manufacturing.

Matt holds a B.S. degree magna cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a M.B.A. from Stanford University.
