MEXICO CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orlegi Sports, owner of the Atlas FC, Santos Laguna, and TM Football Club teams, is enhancing its security and community strategy by partnering with Incode, the industry leader in identity verification technology. The integration of Incode’s technology with the Orelegi Sports’ Fan ID program will increase security measures in stadiums in accordance with the new regulations recently announced by Yon de Luisa, President of México’s Soccer Federation (FMF), and Mikel Arriola, Executive President of Mexico’s Soccer League (Liga MX).
Incode’s technology will be implemented during upcoming matches, including the Santos and Pachuca game on April 3rd, 2022. The implementation improves game day experiences while providing significant protection for fans’ personal data. It complies with regulations that require consent, applying an encryption process that safeguards the information with the highest security standards.
Ricardo Amper, Incode CEO and Founder, declared that, “This exercise brings together two great companies that are leveraging artificial intelligence to quickly verify the identity of an individual while meeting stringent data privacy requirements. Incode has a fast and reliable platform that complies with personal data protection regulations and enhances Orlegi Sports’ goal to provide safe environments for those attending its soccer games.”
The collaboration between Orlegi Sports and Incode will provide valuable benchmarks for the league-wide implementation of digital identity verification for the 2022–2023 season, as requested by the Mexican Soccer League (Liga MX) and Mexico’s Soccer Federation.
