Wade Barnes Stepping Down as Farmers Edge CEO

WINNIPEG, Manitoba--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Farmers Edge Inc. (“Farmers Edge” or the “Company”) (TSX: FDGE) and its Board of Directors today announced that Wade Barnes, who founded Farmers Edge in 2005, is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors has commenced a search for his successor. In the meantime, Mr. Barnes will continue to work with the Company, execute its previously announced strategic initiatives and ensure a smooth transition over the next couple of months. He will maintain his seat on the Board of Directors where he will continue to be involved in helping steer the business.
