Gateway Adds to Commercial Lending Banking Team

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gateway First Bank, one of the largest banking operations in Oklahoma, announced that Rob Hoffman and Todd Welch have joined the Bank’s management team as Vice Presidents, Commercial Lending. Both bankers join Gateway with extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Gateway already has a strong mortgage presence in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Norman. This past year, the commercial banking team has come on board and continues to expand. A retail banking center in Oklahoma City recently opened in the Waterford Building and will have its grand opening in April. Gateway also recently opened its flagship banking center in Jenks on its corporate headquarters campus. Victor Castillo has joined the Oklahoma City team on the consumer banking side as the Banking Business Development Manager.

Rob Hoffman brings expertise in helping entrepreneurs grow and build their businesses. A Tulsa native, he attended the University of Central Oklahoma where he played baseball. Rob serves on the Young Professionals Board for Oklahoma Cleats for Kids.

Todd Welch has more than 27 years of experience in agriculture-focused banking. He has a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and has received the Rising Star Award from the Small Business Administration.

Victor Castillo has 16 years of banking center management experience in the Oklahoma City, Stillwater, and California markets. He is a servant-leader, small business advocate and customer champion.
