The Standard Promotes Cristi Dayton to Second Vice President of Retirement Plans Strategy and Business Improvement

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Cristi Dayton has been promoted to second vice president of Retirement Plans Strategy and Business Improvement.

In her new role, Dayton is responsible for the business improvement functions in Retirement Plans including project management, systems support, Lean and learning and development.

Dayton joined The Standard in 1991, beginning her 30-year career in Employee Benefits as a premium processor. She also held positions as a disability claims analyst, National Accounts claims consultant and later a leadership role in Long Term Disability claims. Dayton then shifted her focus to technology and project management as senior director of Information Technology Solutions and later as leader of the Retirement Plans program management office.

Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon, and a Master of Science in program management from City University of Seattle.
