Valedor Partners Today Announced Its Participation in Richard’s Rainwater’s Series A Financing
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Valedor Partners, a private investment firm, today announced its participation in Richard’s Rainwater’s Series A financing. Richard’s Rainwater collects the freshest source of water on the planet—newly fallen rain—and bottles and cans it, plastic-free, at one of its collection partner breweries across the U.S., resulting in a smaller carbon footprint. This makes it not only great tasting—the first FDA-approved “cloud-to-bottle” company in the U.S.—but perhaps the most eco-friendly bottled water in the country.
Richard’s Rainwater’s still and sparkling water can be found at grocery stores across Texas, including Central Market, HEB, and Kroger, and in Whole Foods Market’s, nationwide. It was recently featured in Visit Austin and launched a partnership with Anna-Leigh and Leigh Waters, professional pickleball players and impressively ranking one of the top female players in the game.
Valedor Partner Jeremy Radcliffe said, “We could not be more excited to be part of Richard’s Rainwater. The opportunity to help scale a brand that already has a passionate and growing customer base is what we look for. CEO Taylor O’Neil and CRO Katie Journeay are building a strong team to turbo-charge growth of a fantastic product—the cleanest, best-tasting water that also happens to be good for the planet. We can’t wait for the rest of the U.S. to discover what Texans already know, that there’s only one choice when it comes to great-tasting and guilt-free water, and that’s Richard’s Rainwater.”
Richard’s Rainwater CEO Taylor O’Neil said, “We are thrilled to have Valedor Partners join us in our journey to establish a decentralized network of rainwater harvesting sites across the country. Their team worked productively through the due diligence process and brings a wealth of financial and operational expertise. Valedor’s extensive professional network has already been helpful in identifying opportunities and people as we execute our rapid growth plan.”

About Richard’s Rainwater
Richard's Rainwater is the first bottled rainwater and sparkling rainwater brand in the U.S. Its founder, Richard Heinichen, started a quest to find cleaner, better-tasting water for his family ranch near Austin in 1994. His dream has grown into a movement to build a network of decentralized rainwater collection sites spread across the country in partnership with existing local beverage manufacturers. Richard's Rainwater is caught clean from the sky before it touches the ground, bottled fresh in 100% recyclable cans and bottles, and distributed the shortest distance possible from cloud to consumer.
