Relation Insurance Services Acquires Kamm Insurance Group, Inc., Creates New Business Unit

Kamm extends Relation’s footprint into the Chicagoland market and will serve as the platform for Relation’s Great Lakes region

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Relation Insurance Services (“Relation”) announced today it acquired the assets of Kamm Insurance Group, Inc. (“Kamm”). The transaction went into effect on December 31, 2021 and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1921, Kamm has served Chicago and the surrounding communities for 100 years under Kamm family ownership. With offices in Chicago, Medinah, and Park Ridge, Kamm provides comprehensive risk management and consulting services to businesses and individuals across the country. Bill Kamm will continue with Relation and will serve as the Chairman of Kamm. Adam Kamm will continue to lead the day-to-day operations for Kamm as a part of Relation and will serve as President of Relation’s Great Lakes region.

Upon the acquisition of Kamm, Relation formed the “Great Lakes region” business unit to support further growing its presence in the Chicagoland and Great Lakes regions. Under Bill and Adam Kamm’s leadership, Relation is poised to aggressively grow the Great Lakes region via additional acquisitions, recruiting, and new product development.
