LOS ANGELES--()--Quixote Studios CEO Mikel Elliott announced today the lease acquisition of Chandler Valley Center Studios, a beloved two-stage studio in the heart of the San Fernando Valley that was home to all 9 seasons of “The Office'' and other premier TV shows and commercials.

This marks another strategic acquisition for Quixote. Since its founding in 1995, Quixote has grown to become, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, “The entertainment industry’s premier studio and equipment rental company.”

The Chandler stages, which will be renamed Quixote Chandler, opened in 1996 on Chandler Boulevard in the central San Fernando Valley. From its inception as a “single show” facility with an abundance of parking, the stages have been booked repeatedly by clients who thrive in its 8,500 square feet of offices and two separate 15,000 square foot soundstages with 33’ and 35’ ceilings, and mammoth cycloramas.

Mikel Elliott, CEO of Quixote Studios, said, ”The Chandler stages are a unique gem and we’ll upgrade them befitting the Quixote brand. The property is perfect for a single show: absolute privacy, secured and centrally located. Quixote Chandler is expected to book quickly by streamers and commercial producers who expect only the best from Quixote.”

Quixote Chandler marks another strategic acquisition for Quixote. Since its founding in 1995, Quixote has rapidly expanded its Los Angeles and national presence, with a total of 27 full-service soundstages at facilities in West Hollywood (WeHo), Hollywood, Griffith Park (QPark), Sylmar (QMar), and Quixote North Valley (NoVa) -- which opened with five soundstages in Pacoima in late 2019 and will expand to 11 stages by spring of 2022.

Quixote has made a series of other acquisitions recently. It acquired One Drop Rentals to increase its presence in New York and then added another NYC acquisition, Hudson Radios. In late 2021, Quixote acquired The Production Truck (TPT), a Burbank supplier of production equipment rentals.

Representing the lessor in the transaction was Jeff Puffer of Delphi Business Properties, Inc.
