Vergent LMS Names New Director of IT

RIDGELAND, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vergent LMS, a premier fintech lending platform, announced it has hired Clinton L. Mayes as its new Director of IT.

As Director of IT, Mayes will oversee the IT team and all aspects of IT operations. Mayes is responsible for implementing new strategies, evaluating operations and designing the platform’s infrastructure and eliminating security risks.

Mayes has more than 20 years of experience in digital technology and security. Mayes most recently served as Systems Administrator for Vertex Aerospace. While there, Mayes directed Vertex Aerospace’s information technology vision, coordinated research projects, managed software enhancements and implemented various security and privacy measures. Mayes also held IT roles at MisSouth Rehab, MINACT and ING Consulting Services.
